Picked up 2 of these at Sam's Club for $ 68.00 each. With the free cable and 2 HD movies gave me a lot the player. He had no problems with any game disc. Even plays my old DVD + R disc. Standard DVDs look terrible and when I upgrade to HDMI on my TV, I see what looks upconversion. The unit is not upconversion through the component output. No regrets yet.
