I tested an earlier version of this adapter and gave it only three stars because it worked on one of my Nikkor lenses, but the panel concerned an indicator of other July The new version seems to be handled with care because it works on all my goals. After trying three different brands of Nikkor-to-Canon adapter, which is one of my favorites this year. Fotodiox adapters are well made, but too expensive. Another brand that I ordered from a Chinese manufacturer based on a specific noteOnline auction website was too inconsistent – I was an adapter that works well and another loose fit the camera snaps into place or not, if you have installed. But this adapter Rainbow Imaging works well and has no problem with me my Canon digital SLR cameras.
One thing to be aware, however, is that no card (from each manufacturer) seems to work fine with older Canon EOS cameras. EMF-Chip adapters used in all these works seamlessly with CanonDigital SLR cameras, but I have an old SLR Canon Elan film from the early 1990s, and the momentum confused and sometimes crashes when shooting with any card that uses EMF-chip lenses. Since the cards are only published work with digital SLRs, I do not think it would be fair to remove points to an incompatibility with a camera films 20 years. But for those of you who are older Canon EOS pointed out that the chip-EMF can cause problems.

How to set the adapter EMF-smart chips

Enter the focal length
First Turn the wheel and set theF/2.2 aperture and press the shutter button in this mode.
The second focal length can be adjusted from 1 mm to 65,535 mm. To save the ring must be five numbers of focal length data. If the focal length of your lens is less than five digits, you must first zeros of the real numbers. Whenever a number, press the shutter button in place.
For example, if the focal length of your lens is 50mm, it gives 00 050, which is a combination of measures: the shutter speed is f/2.0F/3.5 f/2.0 f/2.0 f/2.0 shutter shutter.

First Turn the wheel and the aperture f/2.5 and press the shutter button to get this mode.
EMF-chip accepts focus fine adjustment value between 0-31. The value is defined by two numbers. If the value of your fine lens adjustment is less than two numbers, then you should a true zero before the number.Select the desired number and press the shutter button, will value one after another.
For example, if the value of fine adjustment is 25, then pay F/3.5 f/2.5 shutter.
Note: Please include the value of fine-tuning according to your evidence. The value can not alone be included in the calculation.

Save the parameters for EMFs Chip
If the input of all parameters of yourLens, so you'll have to save the ring for normal shots. Here's how:
Change the value F/57 aperture, press the shutter button once.
Change the opening of f/64, press the shutter button once.
Change the opening F/57 press the shutter button.
If all values are correct, these three phases of storage of all parameters that you enter only the EMF-chip on chip.
If you miss some steps in the process of entering orThe value entered does not match the requirements stated above range, the ring is automatically interrupted a phase of growth and no parameters are stored in the ring.
The data stored in the chip EMF can not be lost if the camera is off.
